Like all good stories, our story begins in a time of trouble and turmoil. The pandemic was sweeping the globe and life was scary: businesses were closing, employees were losing their jobs, hospitals were overfull, and anxiety and depression were at all-time highs.
The need for mental health care skyrocketed, yet our psychiatry practice struggled to find new patients. Our main referral source relied on face-to-face meetings with local primary care and specialty providers. Yet suddenly, the doors were shut: no one was allowing outside visitors in the office.
We had to come up with a comprehensive online patient outreach model for mental health that found patients through SEO, paid search, and reputation management. And we had to do it fast.
The result? Our revised marketing model delivered results even better than expected. The clinic hit all-time highs in new patients, TMS treatment, and ketamine treatment. Our marketing program fueled rapid growth, enabling the practice to open 12 new locations over the next 24 months – each supported and sustained by the marketing model.

Meet the team
David Maxwell
Founder
Dave’s experience with online marketing extends back to before Google was even a thing. He got his start building company and personal websites, including some of the first personalized couples’ wedding websites (back when that was a novel thing to do!).
He has been fortunate to work with some of the leading companies in mental health and healthcare, including 3M, AAPC, Solutionreach, and AdvancedMD.
His passion for mental health marketing stems from overseeing the entire marketing operations for a regional, multi-clinic mental health practice. During his time there, Dave grew inbound patient leads by more than 500%, new patient visits by more than 400%, and increased TMS treatment volume by more than 300%. His passion now is to help other practices achieve the same remarkable results.
Dave is a firm believer in TMS and ketamine treatments, having witnessed family members experience a dramatic result through TMS treatment and from personally interacting with hundreds of patients whose lives have been changed through TMS, ketamine, therapy and other mental health interventions.
When he is not working, Dave can often be found racking up miles on his road bike, hiking, camping, or generally finding any excuse to explore the outdoors.
